If you are not watching you should be. 41 seconds into the game- USA1- Canada 0!
 
5-3 US wins it! Oh what a game- Ryan Miller was unbelievable in the net!
 
And an entire nation is stunned to silence. These games have just not been going well for us! But I have faith-- there's still a gold medal final to played.

Happy for my favorite player Ryan Suter as well.

Canadians didn't give the Americans any credit, now...silence.
 
Finland just beat Sweeden in overtime for Bronze. USA Canada next for Gold. Oh, by the way it is Women's Hockey. Better skating but not as fast and less hitting. Just "incidental contact":yllol:. Go Polar Bears.

Wish I could watch tonight, but I have a work-related class to attend during the game. :frown:
 
2-0 Canada after the 1st period. I'm making my prediction now-- we're (Canada) making a hockey sweep. And I'd bet a lot of money on that!
 
Well if you weren't a hockey fan before this olympics you must be one now. I can't imagine a more exciting set of hockey games - or more exciting team games period than these 2 US - Canada games have been - even though Canada wound up on top.

Absolutely incredible game. Even though the US lost, Ryan Miller has got to feel pretty good about his performance in the last few games. And who could be better than Crosby to score the winning goal?!!

Great job USA! Walking away with silver when no one thought they could make it to a medal round, great job.

I have no idea why they make it a full 20 min sudden death OT, BUT make it 4-on-4. That's stupid, keep it full strength, the way the medal round should be.
 
What a tough one to lose. Actually watched the game in a hockey rink. All the practices stopped for overtime and the kids all came into the lobby in their gear for the overtime. Added a unique "atmosphere" to the game.:biggrin:
