Appointment Packet Not Received Yet

I accepted my USAFA appointment almost two weeks ago about 11 hours after it was posted to my portal. I have not received my appointment official packet in the mail yet. Does anybody have any idea how long it typically takes for the packets to be sent from the admissions office?
 
DD received conditional appointment several weeks ago. She has not yet accepted. According to USPS Informed Delivery, there is a package from USAFA scheduled to arrive on Tues. Can’t 100% say, but my guess is BFE.

Can you tell me the date your dd was offered the appointment?
 
It was about two weeks ago. Got the conditional appointment about a week and a half after nom made it to her portal.
 
I have the same sort of question but for USAFAPS. My portal was updated in beginning of December. Do they not send out packets for the PS or is it just snail mail?

They send out packets? I accepted mine as well but have not received anything in the mail.

I am not sure I have the right language. I am talking about the certificate and official letter they send by mail. When did you accept your appointment?

Sorry I am really not sure. I hate to write to admissions and ask what seems a lame question like ours. My counselor says USAFA admissions office is really backed up at this time of year.
 
Congratulations on your appointment! Might take several weeks or even months- as long as your portal is showing that you accepted you're good to go.

My appointment was posted in my portal Dec 11, and I received my official package via snail mail on Dec 20.
 
My DS received his offer in his portal on 25 Dec 2023 and his "official" letter and packet on 16 Jan 2024, so three weeks for him.

What did the "official package" entail? Was it just the same document that was on the portal saying that you had been offered admission?

Earlier this month, 2 weeks ago I believe.
 
USAFA sends out the certificates in batches. Patience is what I strongly suggest.

As long as you have the appt offer in your portal and you accepted, then you're good to go. You should also have an email or letter offering you an appointment.

Last year, the certificates went out late because they issues with the company printing them. So, your guess is as good as mine when it comes to "when" you will receive it in the mail.

Yes, ma'am. Excellent reminder. Patience. I hear that I am going to get real used to the hurry up and wait.

I have appointment offer, I accepted it, and the portal shows that. Soooo... patience. thanks for the insight.
 
Is a certificate received with a conditional appointment (pending waiver)? LOA received last night.

No. Not until the waiver is approved.

Congrats on the LOA, though. Once the waiver is approved, you will have your appointment without conditions.

This might’ve changed? DD is awaiting a waiver, but has a conditional appointment. I just got home to what looks like a BFE. Waiting for her to get home from practice to open…

Possibly. Let us know. Normally they don't send it out since it isn't an official appt. Perhaps they know something you do not? ;)
