I'm not really sure about anything else, but i heard Texas A&M's Corps's boot camp/pre-school year training only lasts for like 1 week (right before the academic term starts) compared to Beast lasting for 8. I'm assuming other ROTC programs would be similar.

So yeah i just kind of breezed my way through all the old posts so I don't know if anyone already said this but... As far as integrating society completely (in regards to what was said about unisex bathrooms and the like) if you really want to have complete and true equality, shouldn't women...

Apparently theres been quite a few candidates who dont understand the process either. My RD told me of one candidate who went in for his MOC interview and was in near tears by the end after he was informed he needed to apply to the actual academy as well.

Yeah you look to be in a pretty good position. I had like a 3.68, was 2 of 126, had 28 on ACT and 1960 on SAT. IMO, I'd say you're in. Did you get a letter tho saying your on the waiting list or whatever its called? If not thats even better news i think.

I thought I remembered reading somewhere that USMA doesn't send out scholastically qualified letters. I know USNA does and mabye USAFA, but I'm kind of positive that USMA doesn't. I was just guessing about the athletically/physically letter, so if they don't send those out, they probably don't...

This one's a little different, but I guy I know who was thinking about enlisting told me the other day that he thought the Army had an NFL team and he was going to try and play for them. I think he might have misinterpreted the Army/Navy game a little bit.
