It would be nice if CC would post an official notice when the final final decisions are made. Of course, at this point, everyone still waiting should definitely be contacting them directly for an answer on their situation. And then the PMS at schools for a campus based option.

Yes, an hour later got a voicemail from the PMS at his #1 choice school. He got it. He has worked SO hard for 4 years, straight arrow, never gives up. Proud papa here. Good luck to everyone, I hope and pray all works out for those still waiting.

Status change At 10:45 a.m. status changed to "You may check your medical qualification status by visiting the Department of Defense Medical Examination Review Board DoDMERB WebSite" Last name "P" for what it's worth. Checking that it still says "Qualified" like it has for 3 weeks. But...

Kydad: Sounds encouraging. I take it that yours already took the DodMerb physical and eye exam? If so, about how long ago? Ours still has the "contact Military Science professor, etc." message, but the physical was done and deemed "qualified" in April. Will see what happens. Good...

kydad and plmmar, same situation here. Got DodMerb letter saying "Qualified". 1st choice school told son will get campus-based "if for some reason 4 year CC scholarship doesn't come through". Son did get partial academic scholarship at 1st choice out of state school which will help if we are...

The ROTC officer of our son's 2nd choice school called and said many schools would take an acceptance deposit after the May 1 deadline (given the economy, etc.). But it's still school-dependent, so best thing would be to check with admissions, giving the reasoning of financial (aid) issues...

I did and they didn't offer anything on the Concorde packet. Just that we'd know something in 2-3 weeks. So apparently, my guess would be that they are probably still whittling down the pool and the final candidates and rather than make any promises, sending Concorde packets to those who are...

So the April decisions will be made by the end of the month. Is the fact that our son received a Concorde packet and is listed on DoDMERB an encouraging sign? We had thought that the Army wasn't paying to test candidates unless they were definitely getting something. Maybe that is true...

CC told us today 2-3 weeks for everything to be awarded, which makes sense as the April Board ending last Friday is is the last board for the year.
