My DS got his denial letter in late July

Just a curious Dad, who doesn't get to talk to his DS often, as he is several states away, finishing up his freshman year. I try not to talk to him about it but he does say he loves it and couldn't be happier in the university and its rotc program.

DS portal has not changed, no response after writing to interviewer, no letters, no calls Anyone have any insight on what might be going on? Have to assume the quarantine has had some impact, but I see others being notified about various other scholarships.

Congratulations!! Was that for NROTC MO? my DS just checked again and nothing. He even sent an email earlier this week still no reply.

Can you tell me what it says in your portal? Does it look like this? 1. Your application has been submitted 2. Your application has not been selected for scholarship 3. Your application has been submitted to the board for review

Still waiting here also for 4yr NROTC MO, interviewed in September! My DS finally wrote to the contact and still has not heard anything, but he is moving forward with plan b and will try again in the fall.

Still waiting to hear for my DS if he earned a scholarship for NROTC MO, fingers crossed, he has moved on with plan c as the college required a deposit on 4/15 for dorms. I have to ask if you are rejected how do you find out? Email, portal, phone call?

No he has not, he didn’t want to come across as impatient or annoying to the Captain. DS said “dad if I get it I get it great if not I will join when I get to school”. Money is not the issue for me so I kinda agreed with him.

Thank you, sorry did not know what the side load meant, got it now, I’m just so anxious for any news for my DS. Can anyone tell me if any rejections have been sent out for the NROTC MO? Just trying to figure out if it means he is still in the running. DS does not want to reach out to Commander...

My DS is still waiting, when you said the board met last week is that for all the regions? He did his interview in MA.

Your not alone. My DS is still waiting and had his interview in September! Not a peep. He is applying NROTC MO. He is moving forward with plan b and put his deposit in for Purdue. Good luck. I’m wondering if people have received rejections yet.

My DS is still waiting to hear either way from NROTC MO. He interviewed in September, but has not heard anything either way. We are in Connecticut. We are already moving on with plan B, but it be nice to know either way. Thanks.
