If you're a plebe, you technically aren't supposed to listen to music during the work week (M-F). However, my company allows us to listen to music after COB (Close of Business, 4pm) on weekdays and whenever on the weekends. You can also listen to your iPod in the weight room.

Thank you for the information and pictures

A PX employee at West Point told me that we would be issued an inferior boot in comparison to the Bellevilles, so I ended up buying 2 pairs of Bellevilles. I figured it would be a good idea to break 2 pairs of boots in and not have to get accustomed to a brand I haven't worn before during Beast.

I also put all my stuff into organized zip-lock bags, but it barely fits into my bag that way. If USMA issues our items before giving us the bag we carry all of our stuff in I won't be able to fit the items into my bag. How big is the issued bag?

Do we have designated time to label our items (socks, underwear, etc.) on R-Day or during Beast? I read other Academies have periods where cadets label their items with a specified label. Should I label the items at my house or wait until R-Day? I also heard from a cadet a few years ago that...
