That happened to me a few weeks ago. Someone received one out of two slots for one of my nominations

But i'm right there with you waiting. Nervously. It almost hurts every time i see a name added to the list, and that my name isnt on it. I had a bad scare this morning... someone posted they got appointed from my district... but they really weren't because of re-districting. Whew.

If you want something bad enough, you go for it. I think I know exactly what you mean. One of my reasons for the USMMA was because I can commission into any service, EG: any service that will send me to flight training.

I'm trying to hold off on the cynicism until i at least get in

My plan B is that nice stationary I got from the USMMA... i got my appointment there a few weeks ago. But I REALLY want AFA. It's just a matter of waiting. I've taken a look at all the info out there. I SHOULD get in, based on numbers. But who knows, eh?
