I am a dual citizen due to residency in the UK. Yes, I have an SS number but my parents don't file US taxes.

    AFROTC Live in the UK

I've applied with UCAS and to universities in the states. My school is the same; everyone stays in the UK. I had to work out the process myself and registering for the SATs and studying for them. I also applied for an AFROTC scholarship but didn't get one. If you want more information, PM me.

    AFROTC Live in the UK

For me, I am an American citizen by birth. I didn't get my British citizenship until several years later. I do hold both passports and I have never heard of having to choose between the two.

    AFROTC Live in the UK

I have a similar situation to you with a dual citizenship and residing in the UK since I was 2. Have you applied to any American universities or just via UCAS? I don't think you can do AFROTC here in the UK.

When does the interview take place?

For AFROTC, once you submit your application, you'll be directed to a page listing all the supporting documents you will need to send in. These include PFA, SAT or ACT scores, personal statement, extracurricular activity sheet certified by your counselor, and your transcript. Once you have sent...

How Long Does It take to Update AFROTC Online

My status updated about 3-4 days after my interview. I think it depends on how quickly your ALO writes and sends his/her report and, of course, the time it takes Maxwell to process the interview. Keep checking your status everyday and you should notice a change soon.

    Army ROTC Scholarship PFT

I'm not sure how it works for the AROTC but the PFA for the AFROTC clearly states that a high school official should administer the test. This does not have to be a physical education teacher but a non-physical teacher such as a counselor or principal. Surely, this suggests that they trust you...

    Hello all

Thanks Mike. I've already sent in the bulk of my application but the mail is taking forever to arrive. I just need to complete my PFA now. You mention an ALO. I checked the website but I don't think there are any in my area. Remember, I live in the UK. Do I definitely need to have an ALO?

    AFOQT confusion

Hi, I've been looking on the AFROTC website and there have been mentions of the AFOQT. From what I gather, I need to pass this test to activate/retain a scholarship or am I mistaken? If so, when and where do I need to take this test? I'm guessing it's a good idea to start studying for it...

    Hello all

Hi everyone, I'm Jo and I actually come from the British system. However, I am an American citizen and am really interested in the high school AFROTC scholarships. I have only recently discovered this forum but think that it offers great advice and decided to register straight away. I'm...
