AFROTC Scholarship Board - Week of March 23, 2020

Good morning, Unfortunately, only 306 people were awarded scholarship on this final board, all Type 7. We hope that those not selected will still consider AFROTC and compete for an ICSP. The pool was nonetheless competitive. With COVID-19, it's been very hectic for us and we have been...

    AFROTC 2019-2020 Scholarship Statistics

I do not have the numbers of students who have upgraded their scholarships for a Type 1 attending the school list primarily Ivies. I will say, the number isn't expected to be high due to how many people are actually accepted for those universities.

Yes, since interview deadlines were set prior to this board, expect the last board to only be consisted of re-boards. In the previous years, there have been a 70-80% selection rate for applicants. I would just let the next board play out for those still waiting. Your odds are actually still...

    AFROTC 2019-2020 Scholarship Statistics

Can't tell. If students aren't competitive enough, we'll carry the money out to ICSP. From what I can tell, there is a total of 1,384 reboards total. I went over and saw some overlapping names which suggests that. So you won't compete with 2,900.

    AFROTC Reboard Question

You are constantly reboarded and looked at each board. If you were reobarded only to the last board, you would be notified as so / people would not be unboarded.

    AFROTC Reboard Question

I'd like to say that the statistics is just for you to see what the results have been academically. One person might have high scores but low interview score and vice versa. Unless you know your interview score per category, you would not know your chances. That being said, the last board will...

    AFROTC 2019-2020 Scholarship Statistics

Good morning, I've took some time and manually compiled statistics for the 4 boards that have passed. Please note a few things: 1) The selection rate statistics may be inaccurate due to overlapping applicants from the previous board's reboards. I could take time to compare the boards to see...

    AFROTC height and weight requirement

205 is the max weight for 6'4". Please refer to this chart. https://www.afrotc.com/what-it-takes/fitness/ AFROTC has more stringent H/W than when you commission. If height and weight are not met, you'll do a neck measurement.

    AFROTC Application Error?

This. Also, scholarship techs are extremely busy since today is the last day, everyone is submitting it and WINGs itself is being incredibly backed up.
