What sucks is when you throw it 7 feet shorter on the test day than when you practiced :frown:

I have two suggestions, either: 1. Be naturally good at it, or 2. Practice it a lot, and study your biomechanics to throw that 1 foot further. I think it's a hard test to do, as gripping the basketball is difficult on one end, and kneeling while throwing is just unnatural. But just remember...

Here's all I can throw in to help: On my admissions page, the GPA from my school is 3.98. But, USAFA must have reweighted/recalculated it to take in AP classes or school difficulty, and my resulting GPA on the website is 4.03.

When is the swearing in ceremony, and at what time so my parents can attend it?

Are there any classes at the service academies graded on a curve, and if so, how many? It seems it would be really hard to get good grades with all the competition.

I say be aggressive from the start. After all, you want to be in the Academy, right? Just remember that while being aggressive, also be courteous. I think your timing for starting contact with the ALO is just about perfect right now and shouldn't do you any harm.

Same here, no socks. I would definitely advise the other appointees to ask about them though.
