Covid 19 Norwich VMI Citadel UNG, VA Tech and TAMU

I have to wonder what this does to sophomore Cadets pursuing an on campus scholarship or contract. That scenario has proved to be a successful plan B for those that maybe did not have the GPA or SAT required to be awarded a national scholarship. Many 2.5 year on campus scholarships are awarded...

    Will ROTC Decrease Merit Aid?

Not sure you can accept a place in an ROTC program without taking the money. I know you can be offered a contract with no scholarship. I have never heard of anyone not taking the money offered ( and still enrolling in the program). Anyone?

    529 withdrawal

My 2nd Lt. son's 529 in now a log cabin in the woods. The amounts allowable for withdrawal are equal to box 5 on the 1098-Q. We simply withdrew less than that amount each year until we used it all up. So far, no IRS notice saying we did it wrong.

"Under Waiver Review" for a shoulder dislocation?

Very common waiver. My son got one, he had surgery to repair a torn labrum. Wait for DoDMERB to ask for specific information. Only send what they ask for.

    Mattis' Letter on civil unrest

When I was in the Navy we called them... Wait, perhaps we have all been duped. Perhaps there is a vast conspiracy to shame service members into keeping their hands out of their pockets, and at the same time cast some shade on the other services. How could we have fallen for that for so long?
