    JROTC can be a nominating source to a service academy. If the Army JROTC unit is an honor unit the lead instructor can nominate to the Naval Academy as well as West Point.

    As a backup plan to a service academy, you may want to take a look at The Citadel in South Carolina and the Virginia Military Institute.These 2 schools have ROTC programs and are the most similar to a service academy experience. Wishing you the best!
