Just a quick idea, you could do a tour of Georgetown while in DC. It is a fantastic school with a great ROTC program. I did a tour recently and I was blown away.

I'm in the same boat. I am mainly a distance runner, so training for the SLE pull-ups has been a challenge. It has taken me a few months to get to around 5-6 without taking the previous day off. I have found this video to be helpful. Good luck!
