As I’m heading out for the Academy soon, I just want to thank everyone on this forum for helping me get to this point. I am beyond excited to start this new endeavor!

Per the class of 2024 Facebook, travel orders will be emailed this week and Swab Summer info will be mailed this week. Platoons were just announced on Facebook as well
Supposedly, the Swab Summer packages were sent out last Monday. If they were sent out on time, they should be here any day now. Based on everyone I’ve talked to, no one has received anything yet.
Do you know if any valid passport is fine? Or does it have to be a 10 year passport? Mine doesn’t expire for a couple years, but I got it when I was younger than 16 so its not the one valid for 10 years.
I have not started them yet. Do I have to wait for the academy to send me the handbook, packing list, etc. or do I just start on the enrollment paperwork?
For EA, I did get an email about a change in status (that went in my junk folder) although, I didn’t see the email until after my decision letter was in Bear’s Den
I’ve heard so many different things about validating. I’ve had cadets tell me to absolutely validate everything and some that have told me not to validate anything. I’m not really sure what I will do at this point, but I likely will only validate the subjects I’m extremely confident in. I’m sure...

I’d say the best way to choose is by looking at each branch’s mission and see which one fits her standards of what she wants to do as a career. Congrats by the way!!
