    Being gay in USAFA

Too bad that political correctness is a joke. It's a term used by the left in order to suppress the opinion(s) of someone in regards to a certain topic. It was intended for social tact, but now it altogether eliminates certain conversations in the name of harming or hurting someone's feelings...

    Grad gift

War and Peace was one of my favorite books to read all time. It took 6 months for me to get through it, but it was one heck of a read(assuming they haven't read it yet).

    I have (quite) a few questions... :)

I think I can answer all your questions. 1.) I'm a male, but I think females have tiny personal showers in the ladies restroom, but I'm not positive(as I haven't been in it) but the waters usually warm and stuff so its whatever. 2) Difficulties during beast: By far the worst time is when...

What happens if you can't give urine sample?

I'm pretty sure every company does it like early in the morning, so most people have to urinate in the morning anyways, so literally no one has a problem.

    Chance me?

I'm confused by what you're saying here. To me, this sounds as if you're saying your school sends 300 kids per year to West Point?? Because I'm almost 100% positive that a single high school does not make up 25% of West Point...

    Work Outs during Beast

I was suggest(as long as you are not actually in a corps squad sport) go with the track team during company athletics and just say you want to shot put and then I'm pretty sure you can use the gym there.

    A true Liberal Arts College

What point are you trying to make. It's obvious intent was to be a military academy, but it was founded partially on Christianity. Jefferson(as an anti-federalist) founded West Point in an attempt to mitigate Federal power. After the federalist gained power and support(they believed in less...

    A true Liberal Arts College

Yeah because the supreme court is right on every issue. They have abused the constitution for decades and you put your faith in them. They misconstrued the inelastic clause to mean something wholly different than what are founding fathers had intended. They completely mitigated to much power to...

    A true Liberal Arts College

I think the academy got this whole situation wrong, but I have two questions concerning it. How is this different than when someone else has a bible quote in the tag line of their email and since they obviously send out emails to people, a lot of people would see it, but no one cares or...

Denied on basis of being a Non-Minority

Yeah, I get that, but instead of applying race, ethnicity, sex and have names of subjective parts of applications. Which essentially is the entire application, numbers should be randomly assigned instead of having names or any extraneous details. Therefore, it would essentially limit any bias or...

Denied on basis of being a Non-Minority

That's why here at West point, we have x numbers for subjective test, like essays. Its pretty hard to discriminate on a number, so just assign a random number to every applicant and then decide if they should be accepted or not. It's a pretty basic concept that would solve a nationwide problem.

Denied on basis of being a Non-Minority

I'm just saying in general "affirmative action" is discrimination under a different title. When was the initial point of affirmative action? It was first mentioned under Kennedy as a means of getting African Americans into schools that they might (and probably) would not have gotten into...

Denied on basis of being a Non-Minority

I'm pretty sure we have different definitions of discrimination then. Because to me, choosing one exactly equal candidate over another simply because he is "1/4 Cherokee" is the epitome of discrimination. Simply because of being white, he is not selected. Does that sound fair? And to your...

    Are Mids Happier?

Especially when we are wearing our parkas. Everytime, it feels and looks like we are at Hogwarts and I personally think its awesome and it makes me crack up.

    Is this true?

My question is how would they enforce it? All mids have computers, so its really not that hard to pull up spotify or really anything. I cannot believe that they would have a rule like that and if they do, I highly doubt anyone would enforce it, because everyone probably thinks it's stupid...
