I would like to get our son a nice watch for high school graduation, what would be appropriate for use at the academy? I assume they can wear watches?

Our son has an appointment to the AFA. He has already toured the Academy and spent the day with a Cadet. He is going to accept and attend the AFA. Our question: would it benefit him and is it worth the expense for him to go to orientation?

UPDATE, we called the counselor Monday morning and did confirm that my son did in fact get an appointment!! We are very proud of him. I was in Colorado Springs on business (we live in northern california) and brought back many trinkets from the vistor center. Now we are no longer...

He called, now I am more confused At 1100 our congressman called my son. We let him take the call and he was very excited. Afterwards, my son told us that the congressman said "congratulations! you got the nomination", He went on to talk about taking photos in his local office in late May...
