DS just e-mailed his regional director in admissions. Nothing yet.....

My DS is still one of them!

With my DS who applied for USNA and the NROTC scholarship, he created a spreadsheet for the nomination process and letters of recommendation - timelines, due dates, how they needed to be submitted, contact info for MOC/institution, confirmation they had been received., etc. He could print parts...

DS still waiting on USNA decision. Took SAT's fall of his Junior Year and did pretty good. No med waiver required. 2 nominations. No LOA. Still waiting..... :wiggle: 🙏

Well NROTC is updating portals today. Unfortunately, DS was not selected: "We are sorry, you were not selected for a scholarship. You will receive a letter explaining other options available to you." Hopefully, there will be better news from the USNA! 🙏 🍀 🎯

Still waiting on USNA and NROTC. DS goes on his "senior stroll" back to his elementary school and his middle school tomorrow. He really wanted to be able to say definitively where he was going to school. Accepted to Norwich and The Citadel but still waiting for the decisions on USNA and the...

The questions are there for all to see. People shouldn't put their personal info probably, but people freely give out their (or their child's) applicant number.

Now they have someone on there.....YAY!!!!!
