Just a thought . . . if your DS doesn't want to miss the graduation AND he wants a leadership role connected to the Legion, how about showing leadership by brainstorming and executing a plan to raise money for the local Legion post to send other boys to Boy's State?

Our local high school doesn't even rank the students. And they had 13 valedictorians. And by the time they awarded valedictorian status, everyone had already applied for college :oops: so they were unable to add that honor to their applications.

I have something weighing on me -- our plebe is in SIQ for an upper respiratory infection. She writes she has been given very few fruits and vegetables in the meals brought to her. Is this normal? I wonder how she will get well by eating only meat and white rice, and I feel so helpless. Advice?
