    Cyber Warfare Engineer NROTC

The Marine side seems to have a really good selection of job options. Can you elaborate further on the Cyber Guarantee? Does this mean if you are eligible for cyber you are guaranteed a job in cyber?

    Cyber Warfare Engineer NROTC

Thanks for the reply, I know about this information. To clarify further, I thought NROTC can only commission as an unrestricted line officer, and cyber is restricted line, which is what I'm confused about in this case.

    Cyber Warfare Engineer NROTC

Hi all, I'm an incoming 4/C. In the welcome letter my university sent, they listed Cyber Warfare Engineer as one of the career paths. Just wondering if anyone had any experience with this pathway because I cannot seem to find information about it online.

    Chance Me for AFROTC!

Pretty good. I had the same sat score and around the same GPA as you, and I was able to get the 4 year AFROTC scholarship. Air Force also value STEM, so EE is a good major for AFROTC. Make sure AF is where you want to be though.

Can someone decline their commission from ROTC and enlist instead? Would one owe back any tuition if doing this?

Basically the title. For example, If I want to go through an enlisted pipeline after college but still get officer training. I know that enlisted Mos cannot be commissioned from NROTC. If anyone has advice or experience doing this I would greatly appreciate the input.

    Transferring NROTC to Marine ROTC

Thanks for the reply. I definitely agree with what you are saying about keeping options open. For NROTC, I'm interested in either aviation or special warfare. I know that you can only commission into the unrestricted line jobs and to be honest I'm not as interested in doing any of the other...

    Transferring NROTC to Marine ROTC

Did you just go through NSI or was this from a few years ago? I'm going to NSI 3

    Transferring NROTC to Marine ROTC

If you don't mind me asking, why did you not like your job?

Thank you for the response. Do you know if she had to reapply for the scholarship?

    Transferring NROTC to Marine ROTC

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking the 1702 MOS (I know this is crazy competitive). If I don't get that, there is still a lot of other MOSs I would consider. If its not an issue, can you explain how the Marines are indifferent to the major? Is the evaluation based on only GPA and physical...

    Transferring NROTC to Marine ROTC

Hi All, I have been fortunate enough to receive an 4-year NROTC scholarship, and am enrolling as a freshman next year on the scholarship. While I did not originally apply for the Marine option, I was wondering how hard it would be to transfer from NROTC. I've completed a lot of high-level math...

    STA 21?

I looked it up and I don't think that's what it is, as he specified STA 21. It looks like NUPOC is kind of similar to NROTC though

    STA 21?

Wow that's amazing. Did you enlist first and then join the program? Also, would you say what you learned in the program prepared you for the degrees you have right now (like was the college workload much easier because you already knew material)? I really appreciate the reply

    STA 21?

Thank you for the reply, this was actually really helpful.

    STA 21?

Hi all, I had a question on something my navy recruiter was talking about. So apparently there is a program called STA 21 where you are guaranteed to get in if you enlist in nuclear propulsion, and it allows you to go to college while going on active duty (and they have a large bonus for this)...
