Congrats to all of you who received scholarships! The navy is a tough one to get! My son was offered appointments to both USAFA and USMA (going to USAFA), but was turned down by USNA and just found out this evening he was turned down for NROTC. Good thing he wasn't bent on a naval career.

The cleats are something we just bought at Academy a few days ago. I was advised in a parent group to just buy some soccer cleats. No biggie. The boots are very specific. Several of us have ordered them online. They run anywhere from $165-$220.

When will NROTC scholarships be announced for the last time? Haven't heard anything yet and I don't know when the boards meet.
