Would you mind citing all that info? I always heard that around 1500 appointments are extended. That may very well be different this year, but I'd like to look at that information.
bump. I've actually also been wondering the same thing about how many files are reviewed each week. I imagine they're able to efficiently look over a decent amount but I don't know how long they stay in that room to review.
But does the fact that the waiver process was initiated at all at least mean the candidate is competitive? I recall seeing some posts earlier stating that generally the academy seeks out waivers for those they plan on giving appointments. Is there any truth to that in a situation like this?
