Sapper, hands down, irregardless of what your career goals will be. Going to sapper as a cadet is an invaluable, extremely rare experience, and outstanding leadership professional development.

So types of infantry are what I initially listed and type of maneuver brigades (which are entirely infantry) are IBCT/SBCT/ABCT?

If you had to describe the infantry formations, is it just comprised of airborne, air assault, ranger, and mechanized? Or is it comprised of IBCT, SBCT, ABCT?

Have the opportunity to attend one or the other. I understand the great training value in CTLT, however there is a chance of a poor experience depending on the unit I’d be sent to. Would love to go airborne even though it’s just for the awesome experience, not too much leadership value in it...
