    GPA below min

They have access to your grades, but it's better for them to find out from you asap. I completely agree, you shouldn't be worrying about that grade, compared to your graduation date. When you contracted, you legally agreed to that graduation date with the Air Force. Although it's not really...

    Grades

Per the AFROTC regs, Any class retakes or F's will be a conditional event. There's also that 2.5 TGPA & CGPA (Term GPA & Cumulative GPA) requirement for scholarship cadets. Falling below either (CGPA & TGPA) also warrants a conditional event. However, due to his failing grades, that should only...

    AFROTC GPA Question

@noketchup @Vretro Thank you both for your quick and helpful replies. I told her what you all said, and she said that she'll be "pleading her case" with her professors beginning Monday. Especially not to miss out on a great EA selection year like this.

    AFROTC GPA Question

Thanks for the reply, but there's no scholarship involved whatsoever. Her Cumulative GPA will be fine and will be way above a 2.0 and 2.5. The only concern is her GPA this semester, which may end up under a 2.5 (but still passing classes) and whether it'll effect her FT slot or POC membership.

    AFROTC GPA Question

Hello all, As far as GPA requirements for POC entry/retention, there's been mixed statements regarding it. For example on the AFROTC website, it says non-scholarship POC cadets (which my sister will be) must have a 2.0 GPA. (https://www.afrotc.com/program-requirements/academic). But she keeps...

    USAFA or AFROTC Scholarship

@AF4Life Yeah, like NavyHoops said, having a USAFA appointment and attending the Academy will certainly get you guaranteed a job as a Officer in the USAF. ROTC can be a bit of a gamble. You don't know if you'll be selected to become an Officer until your Sophomore Year (something called a "Field...

    AFROTC RSS (Commander's Ranking) Question

Thanks for the helpful info @derek44 . Just to be sure for the "Class Size" part of the formula, the "Class" itself would just be the FTP cadets right? I'm assuming it is, but just double checking. Since it wouldn't make since to rank a AS200 vs a fresh 100.

    AFROTC RSS (Commander's Ranking) Question

Thanks for your insight @noketchup . And I guess we're in the same boat now praying for EAs. Lets hope there's another high selection rate this year! But are you answering my 2nd question about how the Comm. evaluates Cadets? Or my first about if the "Class" ranking for EAs are just for FTP cadets?

    AFROTC RSS (Commander's Ranking) Question

Hello, Regarding the RSS/Commander's Ranking of FT nominations/selections, I have been told by my Det Commander that I was definitely in the "top 50%". My question is, if the AS200 Cadet is ranked within the whole detachment or just within the FTP class? (I didn't want to ask him too much...

    Waiver Re-Evaluation Phase (Heart/Cardiology)

Hello, Here's my situation: I was originally medically disqualified from AFROTC, b/c of "Palpitations with an unknown etiology" (Palpitations with an unknown cause) . Now thanks to my cadre, I'm still an active cadet since they put me in a reevaluation phase. The issue is now I'm a AS200, FT...

    AFROTC/ROTC "Model Cadet"

Congrats on the commission. And thanks for your words of wisdom. I tend to stick to the route of "let results speak for themselves", but there's always a bug in the back of my head wondering IF they notice. I'll keep your advice in mind, (as a recently promoted AS200 now).

    AFROTC/ROTC "Model Cadet"

Thanks for the advice. I tend to get stuck sometimes, deciding on whether to be candid/relaxed or not. Or better yet, how candid to be at the time...Your answer helped alot!

    AFROTC/ROTC "Model Cadet"

The 77 average was last year's AS100s (now 200's). This year's/my AS100 averaged around 80-85, which is still not that good. It would be nice to develop and organize some PT's in which all cadets could improve their PFA scores.
