Max 5 here as well Did y'all want 5 or a different Max? I wanted 5 to take classes in Summer 1 at my university, not have to go straight from school to FT and I have to be back before classes start in the summer. Basically five was what was left that worked best for me

My det hasn't told us yet, is there way to check or am I just stuck sitting and waiting?

No way they're taking more people to make cuts at FT, that's not economical and they could end up over manned if not enough wash out or undermanned if way too many do wash out.

My Det just dropped 58/58 selected. More non rated non tech than usual.

Based on everything it seems everyone has heard about slots available this year,cadets being told they were being competed again after being told they weren't, and cadre trying to get cadets to fill rated slots instead of non rated I don't see the national average being much different this year.

If I had to guess most Dets will see most if not all of their cadets that had complete packets at the deadline get selected, then it will be the guys that were late submits/had issues with paperwork that will have a lower select rate. I know we had two or three guys told a few weeks ago they...

1. To be honest, these should all be questions your son should be asking his Cadre not you finding answers to online but that's a different conversation 2. The email sent out by my Cadre stated that the Max weight standard had changed but that BFA was still 20% Male, 28% Female.

Air Force is 20%, but still he should be fine

Max weight for every height was recently dropped but the standard for taping was not, if you are above max weight you get taped. They then subtract your neck measurement from your waist and compare it to a chart to get body fat %, he SHOULD be fine at 70" and 191.
