    Agreed, like most things in the Navy, it's hard to make sense of it. I can see admissions looking at each application and asking for certain things that are unique to each applicant. Sometimes it's better to just sit in for the ride instead of trying to figure out too much

    Stay consistent with the strength (push ups, sit ups, pull ups). As stated in previous responses, it's all a matter of repetition. Anyone can get good at them, it's just a matter of how often you do it. There are plenty of programs out there to help you start.

    were you able to read the teacher's recommendation before? since she was only his teacher for a few weeks USNA might want an update.
