Thank you Capt MJ and Tex232 for clearing this up! I found many posts on the other webpage that say it's not, so I was very confused.

After serving in the Coast Guard, do they receive the same benefits from the VA as those from other branches? Also, are hospitals belonging to the Navy and other branches open to Coast Guard members?

DS received a nomination to USNA from Senator Feinstein last week, with email and phone calls from her office. (California) :yay:

My DS's BD has updated this morning, received a official appointment letter. :yay:

tx2022 and KP Eng, thank you for the reply. DS did not receive the "up for review" email, a phone call, and an appointment letter. The title of the email he received was "Academy Experience Program" and not the "appointment", so we did not know if he has officially been appointed.

Could you please confirm someone please?? DS received email few hours ago, it says "congratulations on your appointment", but the email mostly talked about the AEP (Academy Experience Program). It did not say "full appointment" or "conditional appointment" or any other appointment information...

Hi, I am surprised to hear your DS's result. Did your DS take AP Calc and AP physics or any other multiple APs? If not, it could be the reason...... My DS has similar score but submitted few min before the due time, so we will not know until before Christmas (AO told us yesterday)

Hello, this is Coffee4you. When did your DS send App? My DS attended AIM, and finished App on 1 hour before the deadline, so he is last in line for sure but... time line counts?
