    Repayment for Scholarship

Thanks Jcleppe! As always, your answer is excellent. The only reason I'd be leaving the program and ROTC is so I could enlist. As you said,"needs of the Army", but hopefully they'd accept an enlistment contract as payment. Thanks for the info.

    Repayment for Scholarship

I know this topic has been discussed before, so either a link to the proper thread or the answer is much appreciated. If an Army ROTC cadet received a 3 year scholarship, but decides to leave college after sophomore year(thus having received scholarship benefits for 1 full year) must that...

    SMP Question

Posting this under the ROTC forum would provide you with many more results. I personally am unable to answer any of your questions. I apologize for that.

    Disappointing Army AFPT Scores

Re: "If you are from Maine and going to a school in the South, prepare yourself" Well, I'm from Pennsylvania. I go to school in Southern Mississippi. The heat index hasn't really dropped below 100 in the past month and half down here. There was literally no way to prepare myself for that in...

    4 Coveted Tabs

Thanks for the input all of you. It would indeed be incredibly difficult to find out if someone had all 4 due to the 3 at a time regulation. I have to agree with you Bruno about the comparison between Presidents and the other 3. Presidents is an immense technical accomplishment and my heartiest...

    4 Coveted Tabs

Has anyone ever heard of a single individual earning all four of the permanent wear tabs? -Presidents Hundred Tab -Special Forces Tab -Sapper Tab -Ranger Tab Earning a single one is incredible, but all four is monumental. Any thoughts, let me know. Thanks!

Boxed wine! So classy. In my family we joke about it all the time, but the very very experienced wine drinkers that make up certain family members of mine do say it isn't bad at all. Specially for the price.

    March 8th, 2011 AROTC Board

Has anyone with a last name in the S-Z group received one? I haven't seen anyone, but that doesn't mean anything. I'm a S last name...so losing hope.

    March 8th, 2011 AROTC Board

At this point, all I want is a confirmed answer. Be it positive or negative, I'll still be doing ROTC. I just want to know so the anxiety will go away. Good luck to the rest of us still waiting.

NOTE: We're sorry your application hasn't been added to the DoDMerb system, Please check back This is the message I was greeted with after logging in to the tricare website. Well. I hope that is an error or else I am up the creek for sure.

    March 8th, 2011 AROTC Board

Interesting note. Today I opened a letter that is from the DODMERB. It is in regards to my waivers for food allergies and head injuries. It is only asking for food related stuff, nothing about the head injury; this makes me think good things. Regardless, the interesting piece is I am not...

    March 8th, 2011 AROTC Board

I'm not sure if this was directed at just one person, or all of us. But it gives me a good reason to post so here goes. I'm from Southeastern Pennsylvania. I will be going to a University in Southern Mississippi regardless of ROTC scholarship. If you want to know which specific one, pm.

I am also having trouble logging on to check my status. That's fine with me, I'm tired of viewing "please contact.....blah blah".

Those are all excellent movies that you mentioned. I have to say the Lethal Weapon series may be the greatest inspiration to hair ever created. Back to the Future is a classic also. Love the part when Doc wears a bulletproof vest for the upcoming meeting with the terrorists. I'll be here with...

The only other kid in my school and I both checked a few hours ago, and neither of our status's had changed. Well, what's a few more days. Hopefully none of us on this site will have to wait till March's board, but that's overly optimistic. The end result is what's desired no matter when we're...
