On Monday, our daughter found out verbally she received a direct entry, but was told her portal will not change until June 1st.

My daughter did the same and received the same answer.

I'm curious, how many of you who's portal has not changed are athletes?

My DD received a national ROTC scholarship. I'm glad we have a backup plan, but her portal still hasn't changed.

Actually, if a person declines from a particular state/region, it opens to anyone nationally. At least, this is how it worked a couple of years ago when my husband was an ALO.
