    I've heard that med schools are looking more for well-rounded people in terms of education now, so majoring in liberal arts could actually give you an edge in admissions the only thing is you won't be as prepared for the MCAT as bio or chem majors so you'll need more outside studying for it...

    I'm thinking of doing the same thing except for army instead (taking an HPSP scholarship for med school over an ROTC scholarship for undergrad) if your ultimate goal is to become a doctor, then go the HPSP route, but if becoming a Navy officer is a higher priority then take the NROTC...

    Transferring that Scholarship Offer

    It might be different for each brigade, but the scholarship manager I emailed replied confirming the transfer request within 24 hours, though the ROO at my 1st choice school hasn't replied yet (my transfer request is also for a 3yr AD scholarship)

    Extend deadline

    Is there a way to extend the deadline for accepting a scholarship offer? My current deadline is March 17th, but one of the schools I was offered a scholarship at releases its decisions on April 1st.

    I jut got a Dodmerb packet today, and it says I should contact my doctor within 5 days of receiving that packet? I'm guessing I should wait until I hear back from CC until I start thinking about Dodmerb exams?
