Hey I'm from CO too! I applied and got accepted to CU-Boulder and recieved the 4 year NROTC scholarship but I turned it down about a month ago cause I was accepted to West Point. Hopefully you guys pick it up! Good luck!

My RC told me that around 80% of offers are out right now with about 50% of the class locked up. That was about a 2 weeks ago so most of the offers have already been sent out.

I was worried about that too haha. I ended up with a B last semester in AP Calc I, but I asked my RC and he said that admissions only looks at D's or F's no matter what class. If you think about it though, if you cant pass a high school class then how are you supposed to do it at West Point...

Under AR 670-1 (Army Regulation) it says that what shoes you wear are based on what your commander says is allowed. My dad said however (1SG in the Army) that most commanders dont allow them because most people dont know how to properly run in them and it causes leg problems.

Dang, I had two nominations (JROTC and Presidential) and my MoC and Senators wouldnt give me another one so youre pretty lucky you got your extra MoC one anyways. Its cool though, I already have my appointment.

Before I recieved my appointment, my MALO told me that admissions will constantly be giving out appointments off the NWL. They just start picking people off the top with the highest WCS every so often. This has been going on since atleast November.

I got waitlisted last November but then I got my appointment a week later once I updated my ACT scores so they have already started accepting people from the NWL.

I would definitely look into being a Congressional Page in the House of Representatives in Washington DC. Its during your junior year. I did this as well with Boys State but as a Congressional Page you live and work in DC in the Capitol Building with all the Congressmen and women and go to...

You actually have your airplane ticket paid for by the government, but you have to pay for the hotel. Its like 150-something dollars that you send to the Academy. I just filled out that Grey Card on my portal.

After I was given an appointment I recieved an email from my liason officer that said I just couldnt get a DUI, get hurt, or recieve and D's or F's and I'd be fine. I would definitely go and ask admissions though, but what you should do first is try to sweet talk your teacher to raise the grade...
