Is there any way to find out why a candidate was not selected? Just trying to figure out how to make DS more appealing for the real application to the Academy and not just summer seminar. Any thoughts would be very much appreciated. Received a bit of a blow today :(

Thanks all for your kind words of encouragment. As Raptordad said "all things happen for a reason" - God's time, God's way. My son has contacted his ALO several times and that last time was told that there was really nothing left to do but wait. His was sent up to the board for review...still...

Consider yourself lucky that your at least under consideration. My son registered in December and he is still "Application submitted (your application has not yet been processed by USAFA)" Session 3 already full and they haven't even looked at his yet.

Sorry Romad, I meant 65-70 spots STILL available in each session. I, too heard that there are about 350 spots total available in each session. Earlier in the thread someone had mentioned that there were only 65-70 spots still open. Just somewhat confused...

I thought I'd heard earlier that there were only 65-70 spots available in each session. Do they break down the spots per region? In Colorado, still hasn't changed ... application submitted waiting to process :(
