I don't think it matters. Service is service. I know prior enlisted people from USMAPS that were paralegals, medics, infantry, all that. And from what I remember, attending West Point terminates your old contract with the Army.

All it says is my orthodontic treatment will be done 6/28/18 and that I’ll have a retainer from 6/28 until (forever). Thats the only thing suggesting care after R-day.

I forgot to mention my LOA is for USMAPS, so my R-Day is July 16th. Is it still cutting it close?

I turned in a questionairre specifyng my braces would be removed June 28,2018 but that id have a retainer after. What do you think? Im assuming a retainer is still considered active orthodontics and that they will just have to waive it?
