Everyone goes. There are certain away games that you can go to if you do the appropriate paperwork. Unless you’re excused, your squadron will have a tailgate before each game. They are all day events so don’t expect to be able to do anything else that day.

I think that the knowledge aspect was one of the biggest things I had better than other people. I’d say I knew about 40-50 percent of the quotes so that’s just that much less memorization you need to do. Little details like military customs and courtesies/drill help you lead your classmates as well.

Agreed. I had my head shaved with the rest of the basics on I-Day. Kids with shaved heads still went through the line and had the clippers run over their head even though nothing came off.

Gaming systems aren’t allowed, so any sort of board games or cards. I ended up making a chess board with some friends during basic out of cardboard and paper lol

For me it was ECs. I didn’t have a super diversified resume but being a reapplicant from AFROTC probably helped. Just remember it’s a holistic view, not just one thing they look at!
