FYI - Not getting an EA for SFT when there was a 60% allocation DOES NOT mean that a cadet did poorly in AFROTC!!

Just want to wish the best health and well being to those of you threatened by the latest storm weather in the southeast. We might have out occasional earthquakes out here in California...but I can't imagine what it must feel like to have an oversized funnel come swooping in devouring...

Thank you.. I am curious if there was a higher percentage this year of cadets that are on the 4 1/2 - 5 year plan NOT getting EA's than in past years....or if the numbers were consistent with other years... I realize though it's a lot easier for members to post the good new....than it is...

NO EA for my Matt.... The crazy thing is that he was so upbeat when he called to tell me that I thought that he was teasing me... He was asked if he wanted to return as a 500. He is considering the option especially since he is on a 4 1/2 - 5 yr plan.... However my DS is not on a AFROTC...

I stole this from Virginia Tech Web-site AS 100, first-year student AS 200, second-year student, preparing for Field Training AS 250, first-year cadet with prior college experience; dual-enrolled in AS 100 and AS 200 AS 500, completed first two years but has not yet attended Field...

Looking for feedback from current 200/250 Engineering/Tech Cadets that are on the 4 1/2 - 5 year plan in regards to EA selection. Curious to see how the selection rate was for cadets that will not be graduating/commissioning in 2016 due to being on 4 1/2 - 5 yr. plan compared with those...

Congrats... Somebody should start a new thread for those going to field training like they did last year..and probably the years before with the pertinent info.. major .rated/non-rated/tech GPA PFA scholarship/non scholarship max etc Might as well be you...as apparently you are the first...

Haven't heard a word from my DS. I won't until he knows something set in concrete. He is fully aware that I check this site EVERY time I sit down at the computer....so he knows....that I know...that EA's are out... He did tell me the other day something that contradicted what my opinion was...

Is there a breakdown on the CGPA for tech and non-tech? WOW 1,590 ....that's lower what people were thinking...

Is the 17% non-tech, non-rated? Any numbers on tech percentages?

I pulled these posts from a different thread that included chatter about size of SFT class this year vs last.....and at that time the consensus was that overall the number of cadets up for EA's this year was up significantly from last year. Below is parts of a few of the posts...If anybody...
