Well, just a suggestion, why not call your USMA admissions officer and ask if you can change your mind? It wouldn't hurt, the most they could do is say no.

I could be wrong, but I think I remember reading somewhere that once you serve 20 years outside of the academy the 4 you spent at the academy start counting toward your pay and retirement.

Another question I finally had my appointment with a retinal specialist today. As it turns out, I do not have a tear. I have a small hole in my retina. She told me they can use a laser to try to prevent it from getting larger. Would this DQ me, or help me?
