Sad to say, I feel like American citizens and our military are more unsafe today than ever before...overseas and at home.
If these groups will not respect us (and I don't think they ever will), then we need them to FEAR us!!!
Watching these brave men come home to Andrews....very, very sad...
We weren't able to go up to Mystic for Swab Summer flag ceremony, but some of our relatives went and we recommended Paul's Pasta and they loved it...maybe we'll get there this Parent's Weekend!
We did do the Sub Museum before son reported and he really enjoyed it!
Good luck to everyone reporting in for the Class of 2015!!
Keep a positive outlook, work as a team and be sure to keep a good sense of humor. Swab summer will seem endless, but you won't believe the amazing pride you'll feel when it's over!
Congratulations and best wishes!!
A very interesting (and yes, scary) story, LITS. Shows how a situation that to some may some very tame can turn into something very dangerous very quickly! Semper Paratus!
My son is "stuck" in London with Eagle and, as usual, Luigi, you know more than I do about their departure date.
You're right, London is getting expensive...so even when the cadets get liberty, some of them don't have alot to do! Hopefully, they get under way before Thursday! Last I heard...
Andrew, I was very disappointed to read your thread. Please keep your head up and keep chasing your dreams. I believe you are going to do great things in your future!!!
