HI, my son is finishing up his year at the prep and it appears will receive and accept his appointment to the academy. My question is what is his status in between the time he graduates from prep to when he reports back? Is he still covered by insurance? Would that mean any Falcon football...

can anyone tell me when the preppies attending the PS currently, hear about there appointments for next year? Do they automatically receive one if they get thru to graduation of the Prep School? If there is a thread about this and if so, please point me in the right direction and thanks...

my son was also a recruited athlete, but on his visit he spent time with both freshmen and senior athletes and heard both sides. Of course the freshmen complained about how tough it was, while the time he spent with the senior players eased his concerns as they told him how much better it gets...

A friend told us that the web site has been down and they are trying to get it up for all the prep info, and that all the materials have to be approved and should be coming out mid may. We want to plan for parents day, but are reluctant to book air until we recieve all packet.

My son will be attending the academy and playing football, but i wanted to know if we should apply for any other funding or scholies available? Not sure if his pay will cover everything so if you could let me know, before it gets to late, that would be greatly appreciated.

admissions will refigure your gpa based on the core classes and take out any woodshop, underwater basketweaving etc. honors and AP classes are given credit, but your gpa may be a bit lowered after they take out your PE and other electives.

remedial retake negative Thanks to all who contributed in the thread, my son refrained from working out( very hard for him) and drinking protein along with consuming several gallons of water over 3 days and retook the test. All is fine now, and hopefully we can get on to the next step. thanks...

my son completed his medical but when we checked it said he had to take another urine test. He worked out alot (is playing football for academy) and takes alot of protein, but his mother an i are concerned that there may be something wrong. Is this a normal procedure, to have them retake a urine...
