I agree. I briefly considered applying to all of the SA's; but decided against it because I only really wanted to go to USNA, and I didn't want any MOC to decide for me that I'm flexible with respect to which one I would attend.

I've been wondering this myself for quite sometime. I understand that the Academy has certain shoes pre-decided that will be the "shoe of the summer" for the plebes. Is it possible to buy a pair before hand and break them in? Also are orthotics for high arches allowed in the shoes?
