TX. Thanks to everyone for the input. He should be finishing his CFA retake tomorrow (hopefully all goes well with that). His plan C accepted him yesterday, waiting on his Plan B option. Still hoping the prep school/Falcon Foundation will be in the mix.

Which one did he go to? At this point, I'm still hoping that he gets that option. 🤞

@USMA 1994...thank you for the honesty. He definitely has a plan B, C, and if all else fails, a D. @TheRightStuff he only applied for Representative and VP nominations, we were too late for Senator nomination and didn't realize that he should apply to all of them. Haven't heard back on the VP...

Wow!!! That is a crazy story (and I'll show him). He's been pretty discouraged by the whole process since he's had some road blocks pop up. But we keep telling him not to give up and he's realized that by just applying, he's taken some pretty impressive steps.

Just checking on the process. DS was going to retake his CFA this week but he received his letter about not receiving a nomination. Is this the end of the line or should he complete the retake?

Definitely was hoping/thinking it was positive otherwise why would he take the time to call. Will have DS train a teeny bit harder to make sure he does his best (and hopefully this will encourage him to run faster!). :muscles2:

Is it normal for someone from the Academy to call about finishing a portion of the application? DS has two weeks to finish CFA retake and they called today to ask when he planned on finishing it. Just thought it was strange and hadn't seen anyone else say anything about this happening.

If DS isn't offered an appointment or a scholarship to SA due to being medically disqualified...would it be the same decision if he decides to enlist? One of his conditions is myopia. Does he go through this all over again or do they keep his records?

That's basically the answer I was looking for. He's been medically disqualified and no waiver has been requested yet so I was trying to see if he would still be considered for a Foundation scholarship if they never requested a waiver. Thank you.

DS's ROTC commander/CFA administrator seems to think that son doesn't need to do CFA since he's been medically disqualified. Is this true?? I thought he needed to finish application in case they request a waiver. I'm/We're confused.

DS has his interview this weekend. What can we expect, anyone have any tips?
