It really depends on the year. Last year when EA percentages were less than 60%, there were quite a few scholarship cadets that did not receive an EA. Someone reported the number last year on this board, which if my memory serves me right was 130+ nationally. I know my DS's Det had a couple...
That's good to know. I told him to go ahead and start preparing his AFSC list in case he gets short notice to have it completed. He knows what his first couple of choices are, but he is still researching the rest.
DS told me that nothing was mentioned at LLab today about the Form 53 yet. In fact he says it hasn't been mentioned at all. I'm wondering if the May 1st deadline mentioned above is Det specific or National?
Thanks guys for the info, my DS did say he thought that it might be next semester before they submit their Form 53 (AFSC choices). For some reason I thought it was submitted during the Spring Semester of their 300 year, guess I was wrong.
Just wondering if any of the 300's on the forum have heard any news on when the Form 53 goes in for the Non Rated Board? My DS said that he hasn't heard anything about it this semester.
Yeah, I personally believe the EA numbers will be better than last year, but with sequestration still in play I don't think you will see 2K +. Hopefully when the numbers are released someone will post the results.
Only 5 Max's again this year, that probably means that the total EA's will be closer to the 1590 last years class got rather than the 2100+ EA's of the prior year groups?
