Congrats and good luck to your DS. My DS said pretty much the same thing but…the pull of WP was there for him. It has definitely been quite the journey to get to this point for sure. DS is thriving where he is at now and I have no doubt he will continue to do so.

My DS has a stellar Plan B with an AROTC scholarship. He cannot apply again to WP because he will be contracted - he is in college already. He had the nominations, unfortunately he wasn’t good enough or didn’t know the right people to get the appointment. I realize not all cadets are well...

DS was rejected today as well. He’s been on Plan B since last year, is very happy where he’s at and the options he has available. I will never understand how all of this works, his application was beyond stellar. We are extremely proud of him and the fact he made it this far in the process...

This is our 2nd go round. He’s a college freshman this year. My DS keeps things close to his chest so to speak. I had no involvement last year or this year.

My DS keeps me out of the loop, I’m only told something if I ask about it. I know he hasn’t received TWE as of last night, and he’s gone away today for a few days without technology. I won’t hear anything until Sunday if there is a change or update.

DS has 2 noms. Pretty sure he didn’t win his slate for the one and the other is an ROTC nom. I read only 20 are offered but I don’t know if that’s 20 per year or 20 in the academy at any given time.

Yup, we’ve done all of that - he’s good to go for plan B, just waiting on Plan A. Thank you for your sage advice. It’s funny, DS is taking this all in stride, it’s my husband and I that are on pins and needles.
