I haven't heard anything yet either. I have appointments to both USMA and USAFA, so I'm still waiting to hear from Navy ROTC-Marine option. It's going to be a tough decision. I thought that having a lot of options would be good, but it just makes the decision process even harder.

I got appointments to both USMA and USAFA. I'm going to do an overnight stay at West Point and will go to one of the orientations at USAFA. But I'm not sure which one yet, because my high school symphonic band is going to play at Carnegie Hall in a couple of weeks! Good luck to anybody else...

I just received my appointment last Saturday, so they are definetly rolling out appointments. Good luck to everyone still waiting, I know how painful it is to sit and wait.

Good luck. I hope your receive good news. I'm still thinking about my decision and will probably be reapplying next year for USNA. I'm still waiting to hear from the Marine Corps ROTC review boards.

They sent a letter that said I was no longer being considered for an appointment to the Academy or prep school.

Rejected by USNA, but Appointed by USMA. It really sucks to be rejected by the USNA, but it doesn't hurt to be appointed by West Point. USNA was the one I really wanted.

Don't be ashamed Be proud that your going to be an officer in the United States military. You are going to serve your country honorably, just like the rest of us on this forum. If they can't understand what we sacrifice for them, then thats their problem.

Does the Candidate Guidance office at the Naval Academy have people that you can talk to about your application. I know the Air Force Academy assigns you an admissions counselor on your application website, but does the Naval Academy do the same thing? Thanks
