    Waiver Timeframe?

Our DD needs to decide if she will reapply to a SA, apply for ROTC (tomorrow is class registration), or just give up. She applied and had nominations for USAFA and USNA. She had a strong application but was slammed with a list of med DQs that was too much to overcome given the time. We...

    !! Parents !!

Sorry if these questions are repeats. Our DD and I did not see it when we read the General Info. She plans to email Mr. Mullen later today. The general info and her recent DQ letter mentioned the Waiver Authorities MAY request AMI. Does than mean she could be denied a waiver without any more...

    Can I be more competitive?

USAFA admissions site says a computer class is a requirement to be academically competitive. How important is it if you don't have one but otherwise have a very good academic record?

    Low SAT Score for USAFA

As difficult as Covid has been, College Board has been terrible IMO. My DD went through the stages--frustration, then anger, then it became so bad it was laughable. Medical school question

    Medical school question

Can grads interested in med school request to pay their own way to give them a better chance of being selected (since it would not cost the services) and also reduce service commitment? In other words, request an educational delay, attend medical school on their own, then return?

    SAT's

Even if tests were to become "not required," my guess is SAs would not ignore qualifying scores from candidates who took them. Similar to other schools who claim they are not required for an application, many/most of those same schools also say they still expect them if applying for a...

    SAT's

DD took test this weekend in State College, PA. We drove 4.5 hours. Apparently it was a popular choice with hundreds of kids lined down the sidewalk and around the school. We were lucky and arrived early! Testing started late due to volume but otherwise sounded like it went well.
