    No guarantees but my son has 20/25 not correctable to 20/20 and they gave him a waiver for unrestricted service, he's class sf 2019 now. Good luck (getting that DQ began quite a roller coaster ride).

    Oh, Navymom I hope it happens for your DS! I was checking dodmerb daily. My son's had also been since October. The day he received the DQ was crushing. It wasn't until he met w/his BGO who assured us that his was one of the most commonly waived conditions that he started to have a little hope again.

    Thank you for the responses. I'll psychologically do the same thing as when he received his nomination last month: I allow myself 24 hours to be really excited thinking about I Day and how happy my son will be...then go back into subdued mode expecting the dreaded TWE, checking NROTC status...

    Use CFA from NASS for NROTC AFA?

    I am applying for USNA as my first choice and went to NASS in June. I am also applying to NROTC. How can I get my CFA information to my NROTC recruiter? When I asked him about it, he said"No I can't use the one you took in June because it has to be on my form."
