What I have had to go through...

Thank you to all. I have still yet to receive the waiver and an Appointment, as the pulmonologist office still has not sent out the results...the methacholine challenge test was done last Wednesday, May 18th. It has been a very long and frustrating four months. I understand why it needed to be...

What I have had to go through...

I received a LOA for the Class of 2020 on February 5th, 2016. All I needed was the medical qualification. I just had the only test I needed to complete done last week, and that was the soonest I could complete the examination. Here is what I have had to go through for the past three...

Methalcholine Challenge Test for Medical Waiver

I PASSED THE TEST!!! The information is being sent to whoever (I believe to the DoDMERB, who sends it to USNA? If anyone could confirm this then that would be fantastic) and I should receive the waiver and then an Appointment within a week or so. Thanks again for the support!

Methalcholine Challenge Test for Medical Waiver

Exactly what has been going through my head for the past three months...lol. I can run a 4:48 1600 meter, and a 10:12 on the 3200 meter - with no competition in that race (I ran with one pacer, both of us 50 meters ahead of the other 20+ guys running, for the first 5 laps and then I ran alone...

Methalcholine Challenge Test for Medical Waiver

I spoke with the Admissions Medical Staff Representative this morning, I asked her how long it will most likely take for it all to be done after the exam tomorrow. She said it might be two weeks, I am hoping for much less. It frustrates me that using the inhaler TWO YEARS ago for bronchitis...

Methalcholine Challenge Test for Medical Waiver

That is actually the exact situation I am in...no asthma but bronchitis two years ago had me use an inhaler for a few days ago...I hope it all goes well, I am expecting to pass it with no problem.

Methalcholine Challenge Test for Medical Waiver

I already had to reschedule from last Wednesday because of final exam conflicts - I really do not want to delay it any more than it already has been.

Methalcholine Challenge Test for Medical Waiver

Hi all. So in order to obtain a Medical Waiver and thus an Appointment to the USNA, I must complete a Methalcholine Challenge Test this Wednesday. Has anybody had any experience with this exam? I looked it up and watched a video of a person being administered it, I was wondering what it is like...

    SAT/ACT Study Tips Needed!

You must do as MANY practice problems as you can possibly do - get different books and give yourself 5 minutes less on each section you complete than what the section actually gives you - this will help you work on time management as in the last five minutes on the actual test you will be able...

    Question about mids and rules

I was also attending the CVW this past weekend. I noticed this as well and many of the upperclassmen told me the same thing - everybody is pretty worn out now, and they are extremely close to the end. Despite the worn out mood, I absolutely loved the people at the USNA. They still did what...
