My son just found out this morning that he was selected for EOD. He is one of 14 midshipmen who were selected.
Feeling very proud yet anxious at the same time...
Thanks.
I have tried to utilize the "dropshots" site but I can't seem to get through to the picture page. I registered but I can't seem to figure out how to get to the pictures.
Any help on how to do it would be great.
Does anyone know what sites I can go on to view pictures of Plebe Summer?
There were several sites that we were able to view 3 years ago when my son was a Plebe but I just don't remember them.
He is now a Plebe Summer Detailer and I was hoping to catch a glimpse of him in some of the...
Son reports death of another mid in motorcycle accident last night while on leave. Class of 2013. Midshipman Thomas Harris III.
Feeling so incredibly sad for the young men and their families. My heart is breaking for them.
May God bless Austin Zalik, Nicholas Tarr and Thomas Harris III. RIP.
I completely agree with these two posts. Before I-Day 2010, I read these forums so thoroughly - I was a wealth of information. I would print off responses filled with information that I thought would benefit my son in preparation for Plebe summer. However, he wanted nothing to do with this...

Let it go!! Blackhawkmom did what she had to do and no one should blame her for it. Stop making assumptions and creating drama based on your interpretation of the situation. Your relationship with your mom and your son's relationship with you has nothing whatsoever to do with her...

You did exactly what I would have done given the situation - no second thoughts required! Sooo glad to hear that things have been settled for your son (and I can imagine that you can breathe a sigh of relief right now...!).
