Is it required to have a BGO or is it just a way of helping a candidate get an appointment? Where I live (in the Philippines) there are no BGOs that i know of, will this hurt me in the application process?
My question is wether it is more important to be getting great grades in high school or wether showing great leadership and character. I know that both are very important but if someone has a GPA of 3.6 can they make up for it in extracurricular?
