Yes, she is a plebe. She does "like it," but not always. Had to make adjustment from being at top of high school class (Lex Cath) to being in the middle of the pack academically. Has excelled in all the other military and plebe stuff that is piled on top of the academic obigations. No doubt that she is exactly where she is meant to be. A huge part is the attitude that the kid walks in with on day 1. She expected the worst, so she was not surprised. She knew all of the early plebe stuff was just part of the game and was not to be taken personally, so she handled it. It is hard for her to hear stories from friends at other schools when she is allowed off of the Yard only on Saturdays (loss of freedom is an adjustment). Would be happy to talk more in the Spring if you would like. Till then, tell him to do push ups, sit ups, pull ups and run as much as possible between now and then -- if life is easier physically, the mental strain is much easier.

Good to see a KY person show up on the list (Versailles here). Congrats.
