If the admissions advisor doesn't think you will get in because of SAT scores (unfortunate, they don't look at the whole person), or they will not request a medical waiver what is taking so long for the denial. I don't get it.

No change, as you are still in a Hold Status. That said, I’d encourage you to explore other options (i.e. “Plan B”), as I cannot guarantee you will be accepted from the Hold list.
Sorry the waiting is wrong especially going into April some May. You are taking these kids at this point because the academy can’t fill a slot because some declined. Not buying it’s competitive at this point. Maybe at beginning but not now. How can someone not feel second best.

So I understand, if a state is allowed 4 slots and another state is allowed 2 slots and the state that is allowed 2 has more than two competitive candidates, can they take a seat from the state that has 4 slots but maybe not all 4 are competitive. This process is so damn confusing who they are...
Curious anyone on hold who have not visited school yet? If so I can imagine the stress of being on hold and the unknown. I have not seen the school but my DS has and I am very anxious of the unknown.
Would just like to be able to get excited for next adventure. We have a solid Plan B, but can't even get excited about that until we know about Plan A. We can't help but stress and the process is so long.
