Really? So, if you aren't notified by 4/15, just take it as you're not getting in? Seems wrong after everything these young men and women have gone through during this process.

Is there ever an instance where someone is not notified that they're not getting an appointment? Seems a lot of applications are sitting in limbo for so long.

I'm so very sorry for your DS and your entire family. This process is so long and can be so heartbreaking. At least you know that everything you could have done was completed and it just wasn't the right time. I'm sure your DS has other opportunities and may look back at this and be grateful...

Mr. Mullen: What does "your medical status is undetermined at this time" mean? My son received a letter from the academy stating he's qualified academically but used that line in the letter. He has submitted everything he was asked to DodMERB. Is there anything else he has to do?

My DS had to choose in NJ also but our congressman gave him a nomination to both USNA and USMA. Good luck!

My DS was sent an email from WP to contact FFR to schedule the interview. He contacted FFR and they said they were backed up at that time but would be in touch. After a few weeks, he was contacted for his interview and completed it right away.

My DS received nominations from NJ-03 12/17 and 12/18 for USNA and USMA

Same with my DS. He got a congressional nom for USMA and USNA but haven't heard from Booker or Menendez. From what I've read on here, they wait until the end of Jan. to contact people
